JAKESPOL encourages transparency and reproducibility by promoting responsible data sharing in health policy and systems research, in line with international standards (e.g., COPE, ICMJE, and Scopus indexing criteria).

Data Availability

Authors are required to include a Data Availability Statement specifying where and how the data supporting the findings can be accessed.

Data Sharing Requirements

• Authors should make underlying data publicly available in recognized repositories whenever possible.

• If data cannot be shared (e.g., confidentiality, legal, or ethical restrictions), authors must clearly justify the limitation.

Ethical and Legal Compliance

All shared data must comply with ethical approvals, data protection regulations, and institutional policies, particularly for sensitive or policy-related datasets.

Transparency and Reproducibility

Data should be sufficiently described to enable verification and replication of the study’s findings.

Failure to provide an appropriate data availability statement may result in delays in the review or publication process.
