Conflict of Interest Policy

JAKESPOL requires all authors, reviewers, and editors to disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that could influence the objectivity, integrity, or interpretation of a manuscript.

Authors must declare all potential conflicts (e.g., funding, affiliations, advisory roles, or personal relationships) in a dedicated Conflict of Interest statement. If no conflict exists, authors must state: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”

Reviewers and Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where a conflict of interest exists, including personal, professional, or institutional relationships that may bias evaluation.

All disclosures are assessed by the Editorial Board and, where necessary, may be published alongside the article to ensure transparency.

Failure to disclose relevant conflicts may result in manuscript rejection, retraction, or other actions in accordance with COPE guidelines.
