Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The author(s) haven't suggested any personal information that may make the identity of the patient recognizable in any form of description, photograph or pedigree. When the photographs of the patient are essential and indispensable as scientific information, the author(s) must have received the consent in written form and have clearly stated such.
  • In case of experimenting on humans, the author(s) have certified that the process of the research is in accordance with the ethical standards of the Helsinki declaration, as well as any domestic and foreign committees that preside over the experiment. If any doubts are raised as to whether the research proceeded in accordance with the Helsinki declaration, then author(s) are required to explain it. In the case of experimenting on animals, the author(s) have certified that the author(s) had followed the necessary domestic and foreign guidelines related to experimenting on animals in a laboratory.
  • The author(s) have received consent from the author or editor of any pictures or table quoted from other journals or books. A portion or the entirety of the article must not have been published in other journals, nor must it have contributed to other journals or is still under review.
  • The author(s) undersigned hereby give the Junedik the rights as publisher, the right of first publication of all published material. It will be llicensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
  • Author(s) of the journal have clarified everything that may arise such as work, research expenses, consultant expenses, and intellectual property on the document in relation to the ICMJE form disclosure of conflicts of interest.
  • To ensure a smooth submission process and compliance with Junedik standards, please prepare the following essential requirements before submitting your manuscript:
    1. Reference Management: The manuscript must utilize a reference manager (Mendeley is recommended).
    2. Title Page: Include a complete title page as per the journal's guidelines. (template click here).
    3. Ethics Approval: Attach the ethics approval certificate in the separate file
    4. Author's Declaration and Agreement: Please ensure that the Author’s Declaration and Agreement form has been fully completed and is attached as a separate file (template click here).
    5. Plagiarism Check: Provide a plagiarism check report with a similarity index of less than 20%.
    6. Template Compliance: Ensure the manuscript is formatted according to the Jurnal Ners template (template click here).
    Submissions that fail to meet any of these five requirements will be immediately rejected. Authors may revise their manuscripts to address the issues and resubmit it for further consideration.

Author Guidelines

Instructions for Authors

  1. Articles received are articles that have never been published in any journal in any form or have not been accepted for publication.

  2. Articles of results in the form of research and literature review in the following fields: public health, community health nursing, home nursing, midwifery, and medical health. The article is accompanied by a statement of authenticity from the author, stating that the article is truly his work and does not contain plagiarism.

Writing system

  1. Articles consist of 3000-5000 words, typed with single spaces on A4-size paper with Times New Roman font size 11. Writing that will be loaded using Indonesian and English
  2. The composition of the article consists of the title, writer, abstract, keywords, introduction, method, results and discussion, conclusions, and bibliography.

Article Writing Conditions:

Title: Maximum of 20 words. The title is typed in Times New Roman; 16 letters are in flat left ordinary print.

The author's name or the name of the writer is typed under the title in Times New Roman 10 font in bold, without titles, and may not be abbreviated. Under the name are written the field of expertise, institution name, address, and email of the author.

Abstract: no more than 300 words, written in English and Indonesian, in a paragraph containing the purpose of service, methods of activity, and results of activities. Typed with Times New Roman font, single-spaced, and italicized. Under the abstract, there are keywords with a maximum of five words, separated by semicolons and double-spaced.

Introduction: Explain the background, problems, and importance of research or study; a brief literature review that relates directly to research or previous findings that need to be developed; and end with a paragraph on research purposes. A balance must be kept between the pure and applied aspects of the subject. The introduction is presented in the form of paragraphs of approximately 1000 words. [Times New Roman font, 11, normal]

Method: Make sure that work can be repeated according to the details provided. It contains technical information about the study presented clearly. Therefore, readers can conduct research based on the techniques presented. Materials and equipment specifications are necessary. Approaches or procedures of study, together with data analysis methods, must be presented. The method is described clearly and in detail [Times New Roman font, 11, Normal]

Results and Discussion: Well-prepared tables and figures must be a significant feature of this section because they convey the major observations to readers. Any information provided in tables and figures should no longer be repeated in the text, but the text should focus on the importance of the principal findings of the study. In general, journal papers will contain three to seven figures and tables. The same data cannot be presented in the form of tables and figures. The results of the study are discussed to address the problem formulated, objectives, and research hypotheses. It is highly suggested that the discussion be focused on why and how the research findings can happen and to what extent the research findings can be applied to other relevant problems.

Conclusion: The conclusion should be withdrawn on the basis of research findings, formulated concerns, and research purposes. The conclusion is presented in one paragraph without a numerical form of expression. Explain your research contributions to science.

Reference: The bibliography is written based on the APA Style model. It is highly nested using the Reference Manager (EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc.) to facilitate editing and review. Sources were referenced, and at least 80% were in the form of literature published in the last 5 years. [Times New Roman, 11, normal]

Conclusions and Suggestions: Conclusions contain a brief summary of the results of the research and discussion. Conclusions are research findings in the form of answers to research questions or research objectives. The results of the study provide suggestions and/or contributions to the application and/or development of science. [Times New Roman, 11, normal]
