Journal of Health Policy Analysis is an international scholarly journal dedicated to the advancement of health policy research and analysis. The journal is published by Lembaga Edukasi Ilmiah Indonesia and serves a broad readership comprising researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and academics engaged in health policy and health systems studies.
JIKSH implements a rigorous, transparent, and academically driven peer review process to ensure the quality of scientific publications. This process involves researchers and experts in relevant fields to provide objective, fair, and efficient evaluations.
Most submitted manuscripts undergo a single-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers. In this process, reviewers remain anonymous to the authors, while editors are aware of both parties. Following the review process, the final decision (acceptance, minor/major revision, or rejection) is made by the Editor-in-Chief or an assigned Academic Editor.
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for maintaining the overall academic quality of the publication process, including final decision-making, appointing editors, and overseeing editorial policies and special issues.
The general editorial workflow of Journal of Health Policy Analysis includes:
Manuscript submission by the author
Initial screening by the editor (scope and basic quality)
Assignment to independent reviewers
Peer review process
Editorial decision (accept/revise/reject)
Author revision (if required)
Final decision
Production and publication
This process is designed to ensure scientific integrity, transparency, and high publication quality.
